Clatterbridge - Cancer Research - Understanding Cancer

Fitness and Fun

Chick Run 5k Fun Run

Event date: Sunday 22nd April 2012

Event location: Birkenhead Park, Wirral

Join the fast and fluffy for Clatterbridge Cancer Research's second annual 5K fancy dress fun run.

The Chick Run is the perfect event for family and friends, and whether you jog, walk or stroll - you will be raising vital funds for cancer research. Life saving stuff all for a walk in the park! All runners will get a chick costume when they register.

We first held this event in April 2011 and it was a huge success. It was amazing to see so many of our supporters turning out to support our research and having a great day too - the pictures on our Facebook page say it all!

We would love to see you there so please tell friends and family about how to get involved in the Chick Run.

What your Support means...

Your support will enable us to make further advances in cancer research and save more lives in our region. Getting involved in the Chick Run couldn’t be simpler and what may be a walk in the park for our Easter chicks means secured funding for research scientists working to improve survival rates and understand more about the disease.

Clatterbridge Cancer Research needs to raise more than £2 million each year to continue with their vital research, and funds raised from the Chick Run will go to research cancers which are most prevalent in Merseyside and Cheshire.
